On June 2, 2023, a feline friend made an unexpected appearance on someone’s property in search of some refuge. However, just as they were about to lend a helping hand, something surprising caught their attention. It turned out that the cat had brought along some little ones with her, and they were peacefully lounging around the yard.
Symphony the Cat was discovered wandering around a property a few weeks ago, and Coastal Bend Cat Rescue was notified about her situation. The searchers believed that Symphony had been abandoned and needed help. However, before the rescuers could intervene, Symphony took matters into her own paws and decided to make a cozy spot in the yard to keep her kittens. According to Mary Huckabee, an officer at CBCR, Symphony was described as a very sweet mother cat, and the rescuers were hopeful that they could also take care of her little ones once they were old enough.
An individual volunteering as a foster carer came across a family of cats in need and took it upon themselves to look after them. Although already occupied with other cats, the carer made sure the new family had a cozy and peaceful place to stay. Working together with the property owner, they successfully rescued the mother cat, Symphony, and her seven adorable kittens.
Symphony delivered her litter of kittens in the yard, and they all settled in comfortably after exploring their new surroundings. She immediately resumed her motherly duties as her seven little ones constantly demanded her attention. According to Mary from Love Meow, Symphony earned her name because of her constant chatter – she meowed, sang, and purred endlessly. Her kittens were named after famous composers and showed an early affinity for cuddles and belly rubs.
The adorable kittens in the picture are currently being taken care of in a caring foster home. Symphony, their caretaker, is working tirelessly to meet all their needs, from ensuring they have regular meals to making sure they stay clean. As they continue to grow, the kittens are becoming more active and playful, often engaging in cute little fights and snuggling up together for naps.
Every kitten in Coastal Bend Cats is given a unique name after famous composers. Fanny Mendelssohn and Hildegard of Bingen, two female kittens, are known for their confident nature and love to explore. On the other hand, Ludwig van Beethoven prefers to observe before joining the fun. Meanwhile, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Igor Stravinsky, and Johann Sebastian Bach enjoy hugging each other all day long. The foster mother of these kittens loves it when they start wrestling each other while cuddling on her lap. While everyone is busy with their activities, Antonio Vivaldi likes to climb anything he can find, from cat trees to food bins to his foster mother.
The group of seven feline friends embrace each other with great affection during the day and night, creating a harmonious and tightly-knit clowder. Their purrs and squeaks fill the air, making the room feel warm and comforting. Whenever the caregiver enters the room, she is greeted by the sweet sounds of these little musical creatures.
Costa Bend Cats shared a heartwarming story about Symphony, a rescue kitten who not only found a new home but also discovered her talent in music creation. According to the post, Symphony’s purring is like a metronome that can help young musicians keep up with the pace of their music. The rescue also revealed that Symphony was initially showing signs of being a loner, with lots of bites and scratches, until she found a new friend in her adoptive family.
After the little feline received a clean bill of health, Costa Bend Cats went ahead and introduced him to Symphony and the Composers. Much to their delight, the older cats welcomed him with open paws. They’ve been showing him the ropes and helping him develop his kitten play skills. And just like that, Hans Zimmer has officially joined the team!
The kind folks at Coastal Bend Cats welcomed a little kitten into their loving home filled with seven others. Together, they form a happy and thriving family in a foster home.
Once these adorable little kittens are grown up, they will be ready for adoption in just a few weeks. Before finding their forever homes, they will undergo the necessary procedures to ensure they can’t reproduce. And who knows? Maybe Symphony and her litter will inspire some beautiful love ballads in their new homes.
