Little Wanderers NYC, a rescue organization based in New York City, recently received a distress call about a kitten in need of help back in May. Apparently, the cat was left behind at an apartment in Mount Vernon because its owner had moved away and abandoned it. According to reports, the renters were in a hurry to leave and left the kitten behind with garbage. Fortunately, a kind-hearted individual found the cat and provided dry food before reaching out to Little Wanderers NYC for support. However, the six-year-old feline named Narnia was too anxious around humans and would run away or hide when approached. As such, the rescue center staff had to find a qualified caregiver who could provide the necessary training and care for the kitten.
The crew of the foster home shared on their Facebook page that they think Narnia is an exceptional cat and wants her to rule her kingdom victoriously. Even though Narnia had a visit to the vet and was moved to her new temporary home, she still felt uneasy and did not want to leave her container.
Narnia was overjoyed by the affection bestowed upon him by his new adoptive mother who helped soothe him and ease his anxiety. With her gentle caressing, the once timid kitty slowly gained confidence and ventured out of his shell. He felt content with what he had and knew he was capable of fulfilling his needs.
As time passed, Narnia grew more at ease and content in the love and care provided by his adoptive mother. One day, without any hesitation, he curled up next to her on the bed for a peaceful nap.
After that incident, he developed a deeper trust in his caregiver and spent his days lounging on the couch, dozing off and melting into relaxation mode at his leisure.
As per the statement of the rescue center, Narnia has made tremendous progress since he found a home with his adoptive mother. He was once shy and scared, but now he exudes confidence and can relax finally. Despite spending months in foster care, Narnia remained optimistic and waited for the right family to come along and provide him with a loving home.
Luckily, Narnia has received the long-awaited news this week that they have been hoping for, and their wish to find a place to call home has finally been granted.
